Once the clip began circulating social media, fans realized that the vocals were from Nip’s Mike & Keys-produced “State of Mind,” which was part of Hussle’s Marathon Mondays series in 2016.
Although Drama reworked the production and it’s an entirely different beat behind Hussle’s vocals, giving the song a new texture, some fans pointed out that Nipsey’s vocals weren’t unreleased.
“Unreleased to who..real fans know..Rip Nip,” one fan wrote in HipHopDX‘s comment section.
I’m Really Like That will serve as DJ Drama’s first solo album since 2016’s Quality Street Music 2, and the project appears to be a star-studded affair with an early tracklist boasting features from the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, Offset, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, Jack Harlow, Freddie Gibbs and Doe Boy.
Over the last few years, the Philadelphia native has resurrected his beloved Gangsta Grillz series with several high-profile releases from the likes of Tyler, The Creator, Jeezy, J. Cole and Dreamville, Snoop Dogg, Jim Jones, Symba, Kash Doll and more.

In addition to I’m Really Like That, the Generation Now co-founder has plenty more in store with new Gangsta Grillz tapes on the way from Pusha T, Fivio Foreign, and a collab effort with Dave East, Vado and Lloyd Banks.
Nipsey Hussle was murdered on March 31, 2019 and his killer, Eric Holder, was finally sentenced at a hearing last month.

Holder was sentenced to 60 years behind bars by Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke II during a hearing in Los Angeles on February 22.
The sentencing of Holder had been delayed for a myriad of reasons after he was found guilty of first-degree murder in July’s trial related to the shooting death of Hussle
