A man has died in a suspected hit-and-run where he was dragged along a road in western Sydney, with police now probing the horrific incident.
Police are searching for the driver of a car after a 44-year-old man was found dead on Courallie Ave at Homebush West.
Officers were called to the scene at about 8pm.
Police are investigating whether the man was the victim of a hit-and-run.
Pictures from the scene showed specialist police swarming the roadway and around parked cars.
It is understood the victim was dragged along the road during the incident.
“Officers from Auburn Police Area Command secured a crime scene that was examined by specialist police,” NSW Police said in a statement.
