Seth Adham Curry (born 23 August 1990), also called Seth Curry, is a renowned professional basketball player from the United States. He is best known for participating in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
His older brother Stephen Curry plays for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA, and his father Dell Curry is a former NBA player. Sydel Curry, his younger sister, was an Elon University volleyball player in North Carolina. Second-generation NBA player Seth Curry has established himself in a short amount of time.
Seth Curry participated in the 2009 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in New Zealand on behalf of his nation. His averaged 9.0 points, 1.1 assists, and 2.2 rebounds as the squad won the tournament.

Early Life & Education
Seth Curry‘s father, Dell Curry, participated in the NBA from 1986 to 2002. Seth Curry was born on August 23, 1990, in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States. Sonya Curry, his mother, participated in college volleyball at Virginia Tech.
He learned the game’s intricacies early on, thanks to observing his father play and train with his team as a child. In Charlotte, North Carolina, he went to Charlotte Christian School.
Seth Curry played basketball for his high school and started as its starter for three years. Before he graduated from Charlotte Christian School in 2008, he spent four years on the school’s academic honor list.

Career
Seth Curry began playing basketball in high school. He averaged a respectable 22.3 points, 5.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds in his senior year of high school. He received first-team SAA All-American and all-state, all-conference, and all-conference honors by the end of the season.
He assisted his group in accumulating a number of victories, which led to Charlotte Christian reaching the state final in 2006. He graduated from high school in 2008 and enrolled in Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, in the United States. He had the top-scoring average among all freshmen nationally during his first year at the university, averaging 20.2 points per contest. Additionally, he set a freshman scoring record for the Big South Conference in a single season.
After spending a year there, Seth Curry transferred to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Per transfer regulations, he was not permitted to participate in the following basketball season (2009–10). While playing for Duke University, he used jersey number 30, belonging to his family.
When Kyrie Irving had a toe injury and needed to take a rest, Seth Curry was appointed the new starter. With 17 points in a game against The Miami RedHawks, the team representing Miami University, he overtook the previous leading scorer. He scored 22 points against the North Carolina Tar Heels, who played for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on February 9, 2011, to become the season’s leading scorer.
Seth Curry scored 31 points on December 29, 2012, against the Santa Clara University‘s Santa Clara Broncos. It was against Santa Clara when he delivered his new career high. He was named to the All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) first team by the end of his senior year. After finishing his collegiate career strong, he participated in the 2013 NBA draft. He wasn’t selected by any team, though. Seth Curry entered a non-guaranteed deal with The Golden State Warriors, a team based in the San Francisco Bay Area, on August 23, 2013. He played for the squad in six preseason games before being released on October 25, 2013.
On November 1, 2013, the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League acquired him as an affiliate player. On November 22, he played his first game for the team and recorded 36 points, six assists, and three rebounds. Seth Curry was acquired by The Memphis Grizzlies on December 24, 2013, and on January 5, 2014, he made his NBA debut. However, the Grizzlies promptly released him. He was subsequently repurchased by The Santa Cruz Warriors.
He was added to the Futures All-Star roster for the 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game on February 3, 2014. He agreed to a 10-day deal on March 21 with the NBA team known as The Cleveland Cavaliers in Cleveland. Seth Curry played in 38 games and finished the 2013–14 campaign with an average of 19.7 points, 5.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 3.1 rebounds.
He signed up with The Orlando Magic in July 2014 to play in the NBA Summer League before being acquired by The Phoenix Suns to play in the Las Vegas Summer League. On September 29, he signed a contract with Orlando Magic for the next season. His rights for the NBA D-League were purchased by the Orlando Magic’s affiliate team, the Erie BayHawks, on October 7, 2014.
Seth Curry was released by the Orlando Magic at the end of October 2014, which made it possible for the Erie BayHawks to formally sign him. He joined the D-League training camp after the acquisition. On November 24, he played in his first game for the BayHawks and contributed 23 points to his team’s victory over The Idaho Stampede.

He signed a $2 million contract with The Sacramento Kings on July 22, 2015, and while playing for the Kings, he recorded a career-high 21 points against The Portland Trail Blazers and equaled it against The Miami Heat.
Then, in contests against The Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns, he finished with a total of 40 points. Seth Curry was signed by The Dallas Mavericks on July 15, 2016, and on January 29, 2017, he scored 24 points against the Spurs in a game. He scored 46 points overall against The Los Angeles Lakers and The San Antonio Spurs.
On February 24, 2017, he recorded a career-high 31 points against The Minnesota Timberwolves. He had a left tibia injury during the 2017–18 campaign and missed the full year. He signed a two-year contract with The Portland Trail Blazers on July 6, 2018.
